Joey has worked with both the pediatric and adult populations and has experience in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, acute care, public schools, and early intervention programs. He currently sees a variety of pre-school aged children with communication delays and disorders ranging from receptive/expressive language delays, articulation delays, phonological delays/disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other various neurological disorders. One of the things Joey enjoys most about his job is knowing that the skills he is teaching his clients and their families’ early on are the skills that will help them succeed in life. He also loves seeing when kids and parents have “aha! moments” while they’re working together in therapy. In Joey’s free time, he enjoys listening, writing and making music, spending time outdoors, and sharing a good amount of laughs with family and friends.
