Dan Casey - Owner/Occupational Therapist

Dan received his Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Saint Catherine’s University in Saint Paul, MN in 2004. Dan started his therapy career out by first obtaining an occupational therapy assistant degree from Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, SD in 1998. He then went on and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota in 2002. Dan contributes his success in life to a few factors. One is his military experience of being a paratrooper with the 82ND Airborne Division during the Gulf War. He stated the military gave him the never quit attitude in life and gave him the sense of feeling that one can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. Second he states his favorite instructor Gwen Hawley from his occupational therapy assistant program gave him the education and a love for being a therapist and a passion to work with children. And Dan’s best motivator, mentor, role model, love of his life, and passion for shooting for the stars is his wife Justin Casey and their two boys Hunter and Carson. Dan’s special interests and hobbies are spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and coaching youth wrestling and football. Dan has many years of experience of working with children from birth to age 21. Dan has lots of experience and education on working with kids with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, sensory deficits, feeding issues, Down ’s syndrome, ADHD, and multiple other pediatric disabilities. Dan puts his passion and love for helping children into his therapy sessions making every one of the child’s therapy session fun, beneficial, and very rewarding!
Justin Casey - Owner/Physical Therapist Asst.

Justin received her Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown SD. She also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She holds a special interest in working with the pediatric population. In her spare time, Justin enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and sons.
Sara Hill - Occupational Therapist Asst.

Sara Hill graduated with honors from Lake Area Tech in Watertown, South Dakota. She has been employed with CTS since 2010. Sara states that the most rewarding part of her day is “watching kids faces light up when they accomplish a new or difficult task”. In her free time, Sara loves cheering her boys on at football and soccer games. She also enjoys cooking big family dinners, target shooting with her husband, photography, and snuggling with their baby girl.
Joseph Riggert - Speech-Language Pathologist

Joseph Riggert, M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010. He graduated in 2012 from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Master’s of Science in Education degree in Speech-Language Pathology. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of South Dakota for Speech-Language Pathology. Joey has worked with both the pediatric and adult populations and has experience in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, acute care, public schools, and early intervention programs. He currently sees a variety of pre-school aged children with communication delays and disorders ranging from receptive/expressive language delays, articulation delays, phonological delays/disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other various neurological disorders. One of the things Joey enjoys most about his job is knowing that the skills he is teaching his clients and their families’ early on are the skills that will help them succeed in life. He also loves seeing when kids and parents have “aha! moments” while they’re working together in therapy. In Joey’s free time, he enjoys listening, writing and making music, spending time outdoors, and sharing a good amount of laughs with family and friends.
Stephanie Stee - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

My name is Stephanie Stee, and I grew up in Gary, SD. I attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, SD and graduated in May of 2015 with an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. I moved out to Rapid City and started working with Children’s Therapy Services in August of 2015, and I am loving it!
In my free time, I enjoy snowmobiling, hiking, camping, being at the lake, and being around friends and family. I also enjoy spending time with my five nephews and two nieces!
Krystal Pospisil - Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Krystal graduated from Mitchell Technical Institute located in Mitchell, SD in 2012 with an Associate’s degree from the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program. She accepted a job at CTS in 2013, and moved to Rapid City. She loves to make the children she works with laugh and smile. In 2016 Krystal moved back to Mitchell to be closer to family. She is married and has three daughters and one son. In her free time she loves to paint, swim, scrapbook, cook, and of course she loves to spend time with family and friends.
Molly Stenger - Speech-Language Pathologist

Molly Stenger, M.A. CCC-SLP received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master’s Degree from The University of South Dakota. Molly has worked with children and adults in Schools and SNF. She is looking forward to working with children again. One of the things Molly enjoys most about working with children is seeing their faces when they accomplish a goal. In Molly’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy doing outside activities: four-wheeling, golfing, hiking, and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Kassidy Kirsch - Speech-Language Pathologist

Kassidy Kirsch, MS Ed., CFY-SLP, attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she played soccer and received both her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Kassidy is a new graduate and will be starting her career as a SLP here at Children’s Therapy Services. Kassidy is excited to work with the pediatric population and help her future clients build their communication skills. Kassidy is looking forward to watching her clients accomplish their goals. In her free time, Kassidy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, hiking, and working out.
Stacy Hannah - Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

My name is Stacy Hannah and I am a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for Children’s Therapy Services. I graduated with honors from Mitchell Technical Institute in 2014. I have worked with a variety of clientele from the Birth to three program up to high school age. I love helping individuals find their own voice and confidence to do things they never thought possible. In my spare time I spend as much time as I can with my husband, two children and my dog. You will normally find us out hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking or swimming!
Brittany Halbur - OTD, OTR/L

My name is Brittany Halbur, but my kiddos know me as Miss B! I am an OT here at Children’s Therapy Services. My passion in general is working with kids, but specifically working with kiddos with sensory and emotional regulation and social skills difficulties. I received my B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development, from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA. I went on to get my doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Knowing I wanted to work with kids, I completed all my internships in pediatric settings. I live here in the hills with my husband, children, and fur baby (a crazy Weimaraner!). I enjoy spending time with my family, particularly doing outdoors activities including camping, hiking, kayaking, and playing disc golf. I also enjoy dancing, reading, and knitting (and other crafts).I love so many things about working at CTS! I love my kiddos and families, I love my co-workers, and I love working again in a clinic setting.
Aleida Fairbanks - Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Aleida Fairbanks graduated from Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD in 2019 with her associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Aleida started working for the Hot Springs School District in 2018 as a para in the SPED program and transitioned into a SPLA position with them in 2019-2021. In her time at Hot Springs her main focus was with pre school through 5th grade.
Aleida lives in Philip with her husband Cain and their three dogs. Aleida loves cooking and also hold a Culinary degree from Mitchell Tech.
Bobbie Jo Atkinson - HR Administrator and Receptionist

Bobbie Jo came to us from a commercial insurance background and joined our team in September 2020 as our HR administrator and receptionist. She absolutely loves being the smiling face greeting our kiddos as they come through the doors and is always ready to reward good sessions with a variety of yummy lollipops. She has a strong background in customer service and has a personal connection with special needs therapy, having a handi-capable sister whom she adores.
She recently got married to her sweetheart of 11 years! They have four children between the two of them and stay busy with teenagers and their feisty Pitbull named Tulip. Bobbie Jo enjoys cooking meals, playing board games and family movie nights. A lover of nature, Bobbie Jo is so grateful to live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota and tries to get out and enjoy them as much as possible. She loves ghost towns and history and likes to drive across our amazing countryside as often as she can. Nothing is more important than family and where you come from!
Sherri Klenner - COTA

Sherri graduated with honors from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College with a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. She took a travel job in South Dakota shortly after graduating in 2015 and has been here ever since. She has 7 years of experience in skilled nursing and is excited for the switch to the pediatric setting. Sherri is energetic and a big kid at heart! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, traveling, CrossFit, hiking, fishing, camping, and running with her dog, Louie. Her goal is to run a half marathon in every state, only 46 states to go!

Caroline Smith - OTR/L

I am a Rapid City native and that moved back home after 20 years living and working in Las Vegas, NV.
I received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Touro University Nevada and have been practicing occupational therapy for 11 years in a variety of settings including hospitals, early intervention, and pediatric clinic. I have increased specialization and comfort in treating individuals with feeding and sensory processing challenges. I enjoy working with children and their families to provide support and skills that are unique to each individual.
Ashley Glanzer -

My name is Ashley Glanzer, I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Human Biology at South Dakota State University in 2019 with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I then went on to complete my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2022. I have background experience in working with people across the lifespan in a variety of setting including acute care, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and public schools. I felt called to focus on pediatrics with the amount of creativity and energy kids bring to each session paired with the ability to collaborate with each unique family unit to give each child the tools to be their best selves.
I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and my dog, traveling to new places, testing new recipes, and visiting friends and family across the Midwest. I look forward to working with your children at Children’s Therapy Services!
